area was dedicated on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 2. The

Memorial Garden on the west side of the library.

to replace an existing concrete sidewalk with paving stones, and found Wesley
and Sierra Madre Landscape on his internet site. I requested a quote and he was
here the next day, gave me a price and referred me to another job that I could
check out at the Sierra Madre Library. It was all good, so we contracted my new
walkway that week.
He was very prompt with every aspect of the job, actually starting it a few days
ahead of schedule. He and his workers were here on time everyday, put in a full

We hired Wesley to concrete our driveway, add support to our back fence with a
concrete base, re-grade portions of our back yard, where we had a substantial
drainage problem, add a rock/pebble fill and put it an excellent sprinkler
system, front and back.

"We wanted an outdoor kitchen/BBQ island. So like many people, we
visited a couple of home improvement shows and
decided on a style and shape we thought would fit
best in our backyard. The only problem was that we
did not have an existing patio to put it on. So
again, like many people, we searched for a
landscaping contractor to build a patio deck with
water, gas, electric hook-ups, and space for a large
teak table. We were unable to get any solid
recommendations from friends so we turned to the
internet and came across Sierra Madre Landscape.

Wesley not only suggested wonderful brick and rock
accents to our patio idea, but he amazed us with his
ambition to build the BBQ island rather than us
buying the pre-fabricated metal framed box that
would just sit on the new patio floor. In the
few days it took to build our new patio, Wesley
further impressed us with his desire to keep us
constantly informed of his progress and any
unforeseen problems. He was also insistent on
keeping the work area safe for our children, and
left it neat and organized when he was not around.
A couple of weeks later, we had a beautiful patio
and river rock outdoor kitchen that exceeded all of
our expectations. The BBQ Island is not only
cleverly designed, but so sturdy that our entire
family can stand on it!"
